Twisted Pleasantrees

Our custom trees

Twisted Pleasantrees customs have been made for both gifts and on request - one tree contained “birthstone” gems for family members, some are because a rock held special meaning and others were made with special colours/beads chosen to fit decor and style choice.

We have lots of trees to choose from to fit both your budget and decor but don’t be shy, we can make something extra special just for you! <3

Where to find us?

If you’re in Windsor you can find our trees at The Little Rock Shoppe,   where Andrea would be happy to help you out.  Her shoppe is bright and sunny with lots of fun things to look at especially for that rock hounder/collector in you!

Nature Girl

This is the spot that started it all!  As wee little girl this gem of a spot sat just behind my childhood home.  In the heat of the summer this is where we would end up. This is spring fed and it never failed to freeze our breasticles off !!  It's been ages since I have been back there, so I totally snatched this photo from my step brother (sorry bud!)

My little utopia
This was my Paradise, and I was the goddesses of the brook, with dreams of being a mermaid!  It was my own personal adventure park including rock climbing, water slide, and a swimming pool where the trout were like my pets.

Atop the waterfall sat a small gorge that was narrow enough for our bums to fit. This allowed me to stop the flow of water.  As the gorge filled I held our elbows tight to our side to maximize the water fill! Fish would nibble at the toes of whomever was at the bottom and then we would take turns catching and releasing.

To transform it into a water slide, we took giant black garbage bags to the top allowing them to fill with the icy spring water until you could no longer hold on, the full bag then dragging us to the bottom of the falls over the mossy slide. There where a few spots on this brook that allowed us to this.  Sometimes, my brother and I would spend all day cleaning out a carved hole  (  like a pothole in the slate rock, cause from years of boulders being toss around via vortex) Those spots where like ice Jacuzzi on a hot day!

I go home to Bear River often, it is such a majestic little village that sits on the river, snuggled into a little valley, hidden of the beaten path, with a lot of history.  Nova Scotia is such a unique province, from its geology to the folks in it ! I am so lucky to have grown up here and consider it such a blessing and it has made me the adventurer I am today !!  <3
